About half way thru Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, started a little slow but it's become a real page turner. Enjoying it.
Recently finished reading the Magician Riftwar trilogy, BJ Penns book and Catcher & The Rye.

Long story short, has become the fore most expert of Australian 1% Outlaw biker gangs.
His book, The brotherhoods : inside the outlaw motorcycle clubs.

What on Earth Happened, fascinating read with Earth's history somehow condensed to give a picture of how life began, the theories on how life began, from single celled bacteria to homo sapiens, ancient and modern civilisations and empires, religion, etc.

Marvel Comics PresentsWolverine – graphic novel Pretty standard jungle & gangster fare, not bad but I like it a little more hardcore. Got it for only $12 a few months back. Thinking about donating it to the local library along with Ultimate Spider-Man vol 1 graphic novel. Really don’t like the new takes on old classic origins.
Also read Batman The Black Glove. Batman & old school dodgy team of non super powered heroes getting bumped off in a spooky mansion. It was ok.

One Step Beyond by Chris Moon.
He was in the British Army, after that he became a Land Mine Clearer in Cambodia. In that time, he was kidnapped by the Khmer Rouge. After surviving that, two years later he was clearing mines in Mozambique, stepped on one, and lost his right foot and right hand.
Just one year later, he was running marathons and raising money for charity in the process.
Reading of his training, kidnap, survival and life after stepping on the mine is fascinating.
The guy is a modern day hero. Highly recommended.

Read akermanis’ book over the holidays, pretty short and easy to get through. He doesn’t pull any punches especially with the people in the bulldogs organisation. He gets stuck into leigh Mathews but i get the feeling there’s a begrudging respect there that there isn’t with the bulldogs. Personally i’m a fan of the guy and i enjoyed hearing his side of the story.
Also finished girl with the dragon tattoo that was great, the new chopper book which was as you’d expect, and catcher in the rye which is a classic

Personally i’m a fan of the guy and i enjoyed hearing his side of the story. It's the only side that the general public has heard.
