I got my KVM switch and everything works fine. One problem though, visually it is very poor. Which ever system I look at the image on the monitor is blurry.
Is there a way round this or am I SOL?

Have you tried changing the refresh rate?

Have you tried changing the refresh rate? I can't. It' set to 60 and no other option. Actually can change through the ATI settings. Makes no difference. I've since put both a VGA and DVI cords in my monitor and just manually change the desktops in Display settings before I change over. I still have shit quality on my Ubuntu box but it's a small workaround for now until I have time to tinker with it again. My eyes are getting all messed up from change the desktops. I will have to stop for a while

Sounds like you a faulty KVM, or cables.
I do not any issues with either my 4 port, or 2 port.

I might email the company I bought it from and express my concerns and see if I can upgrade to something better or just get my $30 back.

I've got a replacement PC with 80GB HDD & OS. Need to screw in my 500GB backup HDD. Add a DVD reader (got a DVD burner already) another reader good idea I think. My external TB is near full, so I need a little house keeping. Got a few favourite programs to add like: VLC media player Photoshop Itunes WinX DVD ripper (any ideas on an improvement?) & we're away.
Dead PC can be used for DVD burner, power supply (it's identical, really) & maybe erase HDD as a backup HDD in another PC.
Got a freebie LCD screen I'm going to try & add in, soon.

Kekster, I'm pretty sure it was you that used to help me with this. Can't seed. Only get the yellow or blue faces at best with Vuze and my ratios are turning to shit. You must turn on uPNP on your router. If it is on, and you are having problems, try updating your modem/router's firmware. What modem/router ? Kek, how do you do this? I'm having the exact same problem.

I'm having the exact same problem. Do you have an all in one modem/router, or do you just have a router? What's the model numbers please? Basically, you need to log in, either or I'm guessing, it's one of those. Tell me the model, and I'll tell you where to turn in on.

Also, to connect my blu ray player to the net, do I need another router?

Which version. Gen I, or Gen II Look on the bottom of the unit please. Also what revision, REV A, REV B, or REV 1.2 etc.... Do you know how to log into your modem/router to config it? If so, click on Advanced > UPNP Tick enable UPNP, and select pvc0 If not working, I have a feeling your modem/router doesn't support many connections, and keeps dropping torrent traffic. Upgrade the firmware may be an option. DO you konw how to do that? You need to know exactly which model, revision, and gen it is to upgrade the correct firmware. I would always update to the latest anyways.

Hey Kek I’ve got a PC with a Wi-Fi router which talks to my PS3 connected to my plasma TV. On said PS3 I can surf the web, download PSN games & play online games. What is the easiest way to watch TV on say Fixplay? (Ninemsn TV with a few recent shows) Or even the Sydney Morning Herald TV channel - lots of good TV on there. Do I need a program to D/L? Cheers.

I'd have to look into that one, as I don't use my PS3 for any of that. I just have PS3 media server, installed on my server(you can install on pc) and then, I play all media files on the PC, on the PS3, and watch on TV. Havn't checked any other uses for PS3, so I'll have to investigate and get back to you about the other stuff. Gimme a some time, and I'll have some sort of answer.

Is there a way when your editing and producing DVD's to put a block on it for anybody trying to pirate it?

Is there a way when your editing and producing DVD's to put a block on it for anybody trying to pirate it? Most software has that option. What are you using?
