Kekster, I'm pretty sure it was you that used to help me with this. Can't seed. Only get the yellow or blue faces at best with Vuze and my ratios are turning to shit. You must turn on uPNP on your router. If it is on, and you are having problems, try updating your modem/router's firmware. What modem/router ?

Won't be home until monday arvo, so I'll get back to ya - but same old D-LINK I've always had.

PC was running fine last night in Explorer, no problems at all. Had a few Mozilla Issues so I used Hitman 3.5.7 to try & delete redirecting website problem. Found 2 items & failed to delete them. Shutdown last night. Start up today DOS prompt "hal.dll is corrupt or missing, reinstall file." Screen just sits there, with this error message. FMD. Any suggestions.

Try hitting F8 before you boot up (i.e keep pressing F8 as you start the pc), if all goes well, you should see a windows boot menu. Select safe mode, and try doing a system restore. If that fails, try putting the windows install CD in, and reboot. I've had the cd magically fix boot errors just by being in the drive as the system tries to boot. It's like it recopies any fucked up boot files itself. I still have no idea how. why. If nothing, boot into the cd, and try selecting repair your windows installation. HAL errors are not good. indicates possible hardware problem. EDIT: IF XP, boot into command prompt with the cd, and in command prompt, try typing, "fixboot" and "fixmbr" without the " You have nothing else to lose at this point.

Managed to find an XP Pro install disc. Loaded & ran a repair, took ages. All good so far, just the code key. I've got some 25 numbers to add in.

After I've watched a bit of Austar, and I either change channel to free to air, or watch something on my hard drive, I can see the watermark of the pay TV channel I've been watching. Mostly when the back ground is on white.
Is this image burn or nothing to worry about? Plasma is only about 4-5 months old.

I think your TV has just retained the image which usually goes away after a short period of time. I doubt it's a permanent burn-in. I honestly wouldn't worry to much about it.

Yeah it does eventually fade away after a while. Distracting though, and for all I know it may have always done it, but I'm just noticing now.

If it's a newer plasma, then it won't be permanent. If it's an older plasma, then burn ins tend to be permanent. Even some LCD's have a slight burn in, but fades away after the TV's been off for a while.

Yea, older plasma's suffer from burn in, VERY EASILY, which is half the reason i never got one.

Is there a way I can wirelessly view my movies and such on my PS3? Yes, this is what I do. PS3 Media player on your PC, streaming to your PS3. This will play everything, including .MKV files ps3mediaserver.blogspot.com/But for streamin HD .mkv files, I've had to upgrade my whole network to support wireless N, and I bought a cheap wireless N router that supports third party firwmare, dd-wrt, and configure it as a bridge, so my ps3 can stream wireless N, for HD streaming. Enjoy
