When the 2009 gfc popped up in the news our co. sacked 3 out of 10 staff in one day. Thought that was a knee jerk. If you have good staff, pay them well or expect them to find work elsewhere. I was kinda glad one guy went, I didn't like him. Don't put up with substandard staff either. Plus another joyous day was when the office Bitch who'd made my life hard for 5 years finally left. I just about blew.

Classic Libs move. At least you've got the year's salary to play with while you find what you're after. Funding for my job is up next June and no word whether it will be renewed as yet. I didn't fucking vote for him!!! I don't really want to get into a political debate but you're spot on. Rumors have been floating for over a year now and as soon as the Libs got in everything moved really quickly. The Libs will end up selling the whole company which is one of the reasons I feel I should get out now. I really feel for the people that are staying, when you work with people for so long some people drive you nuts but a lot become like family. They'll still have work it just won't be as financially beneficial for them and a lot don't have the skills to move on elsewhere so they'll just have to lump it. Everyone wants to be like Pete. $250 per hour!! Just a question anyone done Tafe education by correspondence such as OTEN. I knocked back my cert IV today after a hectic year but killed it and my lowest mark being that cultural diversity paper I paid to have done. Problem being I want to do the diploma but due to changes to Tafe in NSW and the high dropout rate of my specific course mainly because all the class members are ex drug users. no TAFE in sydney apart from a 2hr drive each way from me is offering the diploma I am after and I may have to do it online. Any one had experience and whats it like I have heared differing views some say its dodgy some say its good I am worried I wont be motivated at home and get through it plus no class interaction. My other option is to do a diploma in community services but due to hours conflicting with work i cant knock it back in a year and will have to do it over two years paying the full fee each year and next year thanks to NSW government Tafe fees turn into Uni like fees. |

Funny thing at the tennis repair store before me being served there was this smoking blonde tanned rich bitch 45yo Milf dressed in tight white & orange with the same exact same orange Head racquet getting fixed as me. I made a comment that it was a amazing coincidence. Just to see her voice & attitude. Both were acceptable. Plus I have a 1970s fetish thing for anything orange & white. Finally picked up my tennis racket.
Shop wanted $30-45 to replace the whole inside handle. Paid $10 for a legit Head end cap & during my lunch superglued, stapled x 4, wrapped over strong masking tape. New black grip with strong black tape goes on tonight. Gripped. Sorted.

My father in law tried to download his first movie, buccaneer style and up popped an AFP page, locking his computer until he paid a $100 fine. Lucky the guy at the newsagent p, where he went to pay it had seen it before and told him it was a scam. Looks like a system restore has fixed the malware problem as far as I've heard.
