She was shit scared all through that interview and I don't blame her. It's quite amazing to me, the guy didn't see himself as a bad guy. I'd say that's the markings of a great heel but that's probably inappropriate. Whilst I enjoy reading true crime, I can't say I ever idolised Chopper, or his contemporaries. The social media statuses when the guy died was a pretty sad indication on society IMO. But, I watched it, so maybe I'm a hypocrite. You're not a hypocrite mate Your not idolising him just curious what he had to say. I like reading about true crime too, just interesting what they do doesn't mean I like what they do.

Had to laugh at the wankers on Sunrise doing updates every half hour talking about the 60 minutes i/v and saying how people glorify Chopper, yet they were the ones talking about him. They denounce the guy, yet all lined up to get that last interview. You watch people come out of tghe woodwork now writing books and doing tv shows on him and cashing in

Every 2nd two bit crook in Victoria had a story to tell.

I have to admit to liking Chopper...he did tell a great yarn AND if the storys are true all the better...Like he said he never hurt a straight citizen or hurt a police officer...unlike Ned Kelly who killed coppers and stole peoples horses and robbed their banks..

What about the judge he kidnapped in a bid to free his criminal mate? He got 17 years for that and I'm I believe it's not legal to be a vigilante?

I'm pretty sure it is illegal to be a vigilante.

Didn't take long after the election for the culling to start. Redundancy packages are on offer with two hands firmly in my back. I can keep my job but conditions are changing for the worse and they aren't that great now. I've been offered a years pay for my 14 years of service and will probably take it, it's a fairly generous offer. Feeling pretty scared honestly, especially now that I have a son to look after. I've never gambled on myself, I hope I come out a winner.

That sucks man. I know you've been job hunting for a while looking too.
Now's the time for you to have a really good think about your future as a result of that, cause as you said, you've also got a new son now.
You're a smart guy, you'll make the right move, and you'll find a better thing to move on to.

Yeah suddenly those misses at the interview table may pay off in $ value.
Going through a few different moods. I was excited at first, fear last night and today at work feels like a countdown. I think I'm making the right choice.

Funding for my job is up next June and no word whether it will be renewed as yet. I didn't fucking vote for him!!!
