Grosse Pointe Blank [1997] A clever black comedy about a professional hitman who returns to his hometown 10year High School Reunion. Not a mind blowingly funny, pretty dry in parts, but crazy odd characters & silly situations. Solid engaging cast includes John Cusack, Minnie Driver, Dan Akroyd, Joan Cusack, Alan Arkin, Hank Azaria & Jeremy Piven.
Great alternative 80's &90's soundtrack with: Pixies Echo & The Bunnymen Violent Femmes The Clash Faith No More The Dazz Band
Just what I felt like watching.
That's what I like about having a large library to choose from, I can pick a movie that suits my varied moods.

The Departed. [2006]
For some reason I never saw this. But towards the ending was thinking I had.
Really good movie. You all know that. I love anything set in the Boston / Irish world, especially crime stories. In fact, any underworld / " underbelly " stuff, I love.

Black Dynamite (2009) ***1/2 Modern movie, old school blaxploitation genre. Not bad for some mindless fun overall. Michael Jai White's nunchucks fight action scenes against like 10 guys were pretty damn entertaining.

Faintheart [2007] *** English movie Tale of a joe average who likes to spend his weekends re-enacting famous medieval battles with his oddball mates. Was OK if you like British nerdy humour. Had the actress from Spaced (Jessica Hynes) as the love interest. One of his mates runs a comic shop & is addicted to all things Star Trek.

That Mitchell & Webb Look Skit comedy show by the two crazy Poms from Peep Show. A bit hit & miss, but still good fun overall. Do like Hennimore, Glass & A Half & A Prayer & A Pint.
Dinner For Five Inside views about movies & TV by the stars themselves over dinner. Top Show. Jon Favreau (director of Iron Man, Made & Elf) is the host Guests this week were Burt Reynolds, Charles Durning, Dom Deluise & Charles Nelson Reilly Another recent one Ray Romano, Michael Madsen (Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs) Ron Eldard (Blackwawk Down) & Richard Donner (director of Superman, Lethal Weapon)
The Jimmy Fallon Show Bette Midler (love her, so charismatic, hilarious & generous) Ben Stiller (hate him) The Miz (he’s quite funny & honest) pretty humble champ & spooky that he ran around on MTV's Real World season 10 with a plastic gold belt screaming “I’m The Miz!” “I’m The Miz!”

On FTA I wouldn't have the foggiest.
Cable TV Hung season 1 (reruns) Low income single dad rents himself out to desperate women for $$.
True Blood season 2 (reruns) great season with lots of bloody twist & turns & a ripper finale.
Dexter season 5 - still to watch, the aftermath of season 4.
Bored to Death season 2 - the struggling writer moonlighting as a private detective gets into more tight funny spots.
Eastbound & Down - a fall from the major to minor leagues for this loser former baseball star.

Little Fockers.
Terrible. A waste of a great cast. But then again, I thought the same of the 2nd film, and thought the 1st was overrated.
