Little Fockers. Terrible. A waste of a great cast. But then again, I thought the same of the 2nd film, and thought the 1st was overrated. I've heard that from a few people. I like dthe first 2 so I may still enjoy this. I watched Dinner for the Shmucks last night. Meh, it wasn't to flash. It had kind of a Cable Guy feel about it but nowhere near as good. I'm a fan of Paul Rudd and Steve Carrel so that gives it a pass, just.

Inception. A little too overhyped for my liking, it was OK but not my favourite movie. A bit of a mish mash of: The Matrix Solaris (2002) 1408 (2007) Existenz (1999) also seemed a little too Batman Begins with Cillian Murphy, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe, exploding ice forts. Special effects are not enough to keep my interest these days. Left me a little, meh... Glad I didn't bother buying it.

The Expendables.
Not much storyline wise, but a heap of action and explosions kept me happy. Only thing it lacked was boobs.

I watched True Grit tonight. I really enjoyed it.
It's a remake of an old John Wayne movie and it's about a girl who hires a US Marshall to kill the man who murdered her father.

Disagree. I usually hate Ben Stiller with a passion. Meet The Parents was a classic. Cringeworthy & uncomfortable humour, sure, not really LOL. My father in law is a Vietnam Vet (like the father DeNiro) & I noticed a few OCD similarities that made it pretty special for me. Seeing a movie without all the hype is an advantage, too. I saw it at the cinema when it first came out & missed the later hype.

A few docos
Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking: Aliens Very interesting ideas on whether we are alone in the universe. Some better than expected graphics help the theories along.
Hoarders Those dirty buggers that have shit everywhere in their houses & can't even walk on the floor. Of course there is usually some reason they can't let any "stuff" go.

I just watched The Last Excorcism. Holy shit! It's one of those POV movies like Blair Witch. They always kind of freak me out anyway but with demons involved it really had me into it. It was a short film but kept me guessing right up until the end.

Predators.
I didn't mind it, much better then 2, which I like to be honest. Had a hard time accepting Adrian Brody as a hero though.

He wasn't, that was the point, I thought. I really liked the finale, a good psychological twisted tale.

Tangled, with the kids at the Drives Woeful piece of disney crap, seriously would have preferred to have sat at home and cut myself. Not witty or clever or funny. This show just failed on all levels even the kids hated it.

He wasn't, that was the point, I thought. I really liked the finale, a good psychological twisted tale. He's the hero. I know in their world, they're all monsters and stuff. But, Brody pretty much ends up the hero by defeating the Predators and saving the girl. All qualities of a hero IMO.

A WWII documentary on SBS.
Apocalypse.
Amazing raw footage about the war on all fronts. Excellent commentary, too.
