Fave character/s?
Ryan O'Reily - He wasn't gay. The rest of them all had some sort of gay tendancies
He was also the most shiftiest cunt in the place. Was also a prick like the rest of the characters, but one I could almost relate to.
Chucky Pancamo was another fav.

Any character/s that shit you hated? Simon Adebisi - Just one evil motherfucker

Fave storylines? - When the black dentist put some black dudes teeth in James Robson then told someone else about it so he found out via his aryan brothers

How did the finale sit with you? They didn't give enough insight on what ends up happening to people when the series ended, which is what I wanted to know.

Anything else you wanna discuss re Oz? Verne Shillenger is one evil cunt.
How twisted were these characters. Their fun was ruining or killing others. Just amazing writing all the way. Could have done with a little less graphic gayness though.

Fave character/s? Tobias Beecher, the morphing from scared little puppy, to raving psycho was brilliant. And the way he gave back to Verne Schillinger, as good as he got, great to watch. Verne himself I liked for his ruthlessness. The mind games he played, and the physical torture he dealt out or over saw, just a sick man. Rounding out my faves is Kareem Said, I liked his strong convictions and that he was the conscience of Oz. Always trying to see things a different way, but in the end, he was as much as part of the system as anyone else.

There there's Chris Keller, Ryan O'Reilly, Chucky Pancamo and Simon Adebisi. Such diversity of character allowed for so many different directions a story could go. Alliances formed and broken, betrayal, redemption. Alot like wrestling really.


Any character/s that shit you? None, it's my fave show of all time, I can't find fault with it.

Fave storylines? So many. The Beecher/Schillinger/Chris Keller love triangle that looped the entire series would be my fave. Dave Brass/Jackson Vayhew cutting of the tendon. Miguel Alvarez trying to prove himself to his Latino brotherhood, by taking the eyes of a guard. Claire Howell being a sexual aggressor with the inmates. Peter Schibetta being bent over, not once, but twice. That's pretty fucked up.

How did the finale sit with you? I watched it, not actually knowing that it was the finale. I was pretty new to the show as I had only watched maybe 10 eps. I got into cause alot of the boys here at The Asylum used to chat about it. So I saw what the fuss was about and went from there.

Anything else you wanna discuss re Oz? The most confronting show I've seen. It was never pretty, or cutesy, just hard, gritty and would scare a wayward teen to a life of abiding by the law. I finished re watching the entire series through about 3 months ago, and it still holds up very well. I will go back to it again at some point, and the violence cycle can begin all over again.

Apart from the gay factor, this would be the second fav storyline in terms of substance. (My Robson example was pure humour) I couldn't believe how much manipulation was used here. Some of the most twisted, most mentally fucked up circumstances ever conceivable were in this storyline. Schillinger is an evil, evil man

Shillenger. Wow. He played that role so well.

Kareem Said. Probably the guy I cheered for the most.

Chris Keller was good but he had his cock out too much for my likings.

McManus was another one of my favs.

When Adebisi cleared the back pipe of one of the Italian boys. ;D

The whole Tobias and Aryan storyline was chilling especially early on.

How did the finale sit with you?

Didn't like it personally. It just seemed like the writers had one day to end the show and this was the first idea they came up with.

Anything else you wanna discuss re Oz?

At times though I thought it was over the top. A lot of the key characters in the show got killed off to quickly which hurt it in some places. Other than that it was a show I did enjoy and will have to watch it again pretty soon.

I thought more inmates were a fan of this show.
