The show about nothing.
Fave character?
Fave character who jumps in and out of the show (someone parents, a boss in a workplace, a bf or gf to one of the main characters)?
Fave eps?
Is it the best show of all time as some have rated it?
What did you enjoy about it, or not enjoy about it?
Anything else Seinfeld you wanna bring up?

Ah, my favourite show of all time. Great memories here.
Fave character? George. He's just the opposite of most normal people, its hard not to get drawn to his charachter.
Fave character who jumps in and out of the show (someone parents, a boss in a workplace, a bf or gf to one of the main characters)? The 2 fathers. Frank Costanza and Morty Seinfeld.
Fave eps? I like that many it would be easier for me to list the episodes I don't like.
Is it the best show of all time as some have rated it? For mine it is. I know a lot of people that hate it, can' stand it. But, I know others like me, that love it.
What did you enjoy about it, or not enjoy about it? I hated the Finale. Maybe it was overhyped, I'm not sure. For me, it just didn't seem like a normal Seinfeld episode, and I never thought of the characters as nasty, like they were portrayed in the final episode.
Anything else Seinfeld you wanna bring up? Yeah, No soup for you!! ;D

Fave character? George easily. So many times when he got himself in the shit, posing as a Marine Biologist, trying to get a date with Marissa Tomei while he had a fiancee in Susan, when he tried have himself digitally taken out of a photo.
Fave character who jumps in and out of the show (someone parents, a boss in a workplace, a bf or gf to one of the main characters)? Estelle and Frank Costanza. One particular line from Estelle when she catches George 'in the act'. I go out, for one minute, and I come back finding my son, treating his body like an amusement park'. Frickin gold. I also like Peterman, Elaines boss.
Fave eps? Soup Nazi, Marine Biologist, The Pony Remark, The Parking Lot, The Puffy Shirt, The Chinese Restaurant.
Is it the best show of all time as some have rated it? For me, it's bloody close, I can watch any ep and find something that'll still make me laugh.
What did you enjoy about it, or not enjoy about it? Agree with Skinny, didn't like the Finale. For them to end up in jail was just bizarre. It was such a fun show, but to end up in jail, if that happened to people I knew, I'd think that was a very serious thing.
Anything else Seinfeld you wanna bring up? Stands the test of time very well. I have a mate, who along with myself, uses various Seinfeld quotes in a given situation. Gold Jerry. Gold.

Fave eps? - Too many to list
Is it the best show of all time as some have rated it? It's up there. Top 5.

. Anything else Seinfeld you wanna bring up? Stands the test of time very well. I have a mate, who along with myself, uses various Seinfeld quotes in a given situation. Gold Jerry. Gold. That's what I love about the show also. Nearly 13 years after it's run, I can still make a Seinfeld reference nearly everyday, and still find it funny.

My favourite show of all time! Fave character?Got to be George. Jason Alexander delivered this role to perfection. Fave character who jumps in and out of the show (someone parents, a boss in a workplace, a bf or gf to one of the main characters)?Frank Costanza is good value. I always liked Jay Peterman Fave eps? There is so many. I'll condense them down to one per season though Season 1 "The Stock Tip" - A rare episode when something actually goes right for George Season 2 "The Chinese Restaurant" - CARTWRIGHT? CAAAARTWRIGHT? Season 3 "The Boyfriend" (2 Parts) - The case of the second spitter. Season 4 This is probably my favourite season. Really hard to pick one. "The Outing" would probably get over the line. George and Jerry trying to convince a chick that they're not gay. Season 5 "The Sniffing Accountant" is one that I'll put on top. Jerry, Kramer and Newman all go on a "Sting" to find out if Jerry's accountant is using coke. A classic scene with Kramer skulling a beer and smoking at the same time. Season 6 "The Couch" - Poppy pisses on Jerry's coach Season 7 "The Rye" - George tries to put a Rye bread back into the Ross' house after his parents took it from them after a dinner party. Season 8 "The Pothole" George losses his keys in a pothole and Kramer adopts a highway Season 9 "The Slicer" Kramer gets a meat slicer, becomes Dr Vann Nostrom and wants to remove a mole of George's Boss with it. I've missed so many. Is it the best show of all time as some have rated it?Absolutely it is, well in my opinion it is. It's been finished up for a long time now and the comedy still holds up. I find it hard to find a sitcom that gets anywhere near Seinfeld. What did you enjoy about it, or not enjoy about it?It made me laugh a lot. and still does, pretty simple really. Anything else Seinfeld you wanna bring up? I have a Vandalay Industries sticker. ;D

A mate, who is a huge Seinfeld fan, started telling me the other day, about all the pseudo names/nicknames/names Seinfeld characters have taken over the course of the show. And mentioning Kramer as Dr. Vann Nostrom reminded me of that. So here's a few I can remember, there are heaps more if anyone else wants to add; George tried being T-Bone with his work group. He also got called Coco and Gammy. Gammy's getting upset Jerry was Art Vandelay. Kramer was Steven Snell on Murphy Brown. Elaine was the mythical 'Suzie' who Peterman says he had a torrid affair with, even though she never actually existed. Great stuff.

Fave character? George. It was almost a shame when things went right for him, because you loved seeing him getting shafted. So many great moments, he's easily my fave ever TV character.
Fave character who jumps in and out of the show (someone parents, a boss in a workplace, a bf or gf to one of the main characters)? Hello Newman.
Fave eps?
The opposite episode where George does everything opposite, and winds up with a Yankees job. The nose picking episode - George: She walks in, and I'm in up to my wrist. The Contest - love the bit where they are watching the naked chick across the road, Kramer silently leaves and then walks back in and slams his money down.
There's too many more.
Is it the best show of all time as some have rated it? Yes, it is very much up there. It is hard to compare era's though.
What did you enjoy about it, or not enjoy about it? It was different. Most sitcoms had that wholesome quality, where the people were genuinely good at heart even if they did something bad. Not in Seinfeld - Kramer maybe was, but if you knew someone like George, Jerry or Elaine in the real world you'd want to smack them in the face. They were so callous and selfish, it was what really drove the show. 4 people who can't exist without each other, but would screw each other if that was required.
Anything else Seinfeld you wanna bring up? Everytime I see someone dancing badly, it reminds me of Elaine and her little kicks at the office party.

Ah Dragon, I laughed when you said you loved watching George get shafted You're right though, that's what drove alot of the storylines. As for Newman, I love The Chicken Roaster ep where a Kenny Rogers Chicken Roaster store opens up across from Kramers apartment. The red glowing light keeps him awake, so he and Jerry switch apartments. Over time, due to no sleep, Jerry becomes Kramer and Kramer, sleeping soundly, becomes Jerry. Love when Jerry walks in - Kramer: Jerry, you look stressed. Jerry: (in complete Kramer mode with expression and mannerisms) Oh, I'm stressed And Newman in that ep, after Kramer has become addicted to the chicken, is buying a big order from them. Jerry is in the store and notices Newman has bought a tub of broccoli. The exchange between them that follows is gold - Jerry: Hold it, Newman, you wouldn't eat broccoli if it was deep fried in chocolate sauce. Newman: I love broccoli, its good for you. Jerry: Really? Then maybe you'd like to have a piece? Newman: Gladly. But he then spits it out violently. Newman: Vile weed.

Another classic piece of George is in the Ep where Susan dies, and he tries sound sad when talking to the doctor and making sure she is dead. Then goes home and calls Marisa Tomei.
