Played some Wii tennis & table tennis. I'm a bit behind the times. Not quite as cool as PS3 Virtua Tennis 3. Wii really is targeted as sports arcade kiddie fun. Still, Wii can still take Resident Evil 0 or 4 & Metal Gear Solid GameCube games.

Anyone pick up the PS4 or Xbox One?

Got myself the PS4 for Christmas with FIFA, NBA and Battlefield. Cool little system, but honestly, I much prefer the games that are out on the Wii U. Super Mario 3D has to be a game of the year contender.

My kids have been loving Super Mario... just another quality game, and with Mario Kart 8 on the horizon, I don't regret grabbing them a Wii U at all.

They just need an original Zelda game for it now

Never liked this latest game expensive trip. I prefer the classically trained.

Heavy Rain PS3
Bout half way thru & I like it.
It's tedious in parts & difficult in others, not for the casual action junkie gamer. Good for slow moving atmosphere, dread & those with OCD disorder. Notable for the most appealing motion capture of female anatomy showering.

Heavy Rain PS3
Finished it this afternoon. About 10-11 hours all up. A curious mix of Silent Hill, X-Files & A Point & Click Adventure. I really liked it overall but not for folks with a short attention span. Slick animation gives it the feel of an interactive noir crime movie. Really enjoyed some of the grim spots the babe gets in & out of. Supposedly there are 8 possible endings. Mine was like 90% successful.

Was bullied into playing by my daughters/friends so I gave it a go. Love it. Basically, a huge trivia game, so if you like that stuff, grab it.

Grand Theft Auto V (PS3)
Completed main story last night.
One of my favourite things.
Trevor Phillips is one of the funniest bad ass characters of all time.
Really love the big missions setups.
I tend to use the 'subtle' mission method. Might have a go at the more direct approach on some of them so there is some replay value in the game.
