Hope everyone spares a thought for the big fella, Hollywood in the wake of his recent surgery. Hoping he gets back on the forums sooner rather than later.

So i dislocated my little finger 2 saturdays ago playing soccer (I'm a goalkeeper). My mate popped it back into place, and I thought it'd heal up by now since I was able to wiggle it.
I went doctors last night and got an x-ray. Turns out it's fractured. I'll be heading to the hospital tomorrow morning to get it worked on. Does anyone know what they do to fix fractures? It's all new to me...

It could be in a cast, or splint if it's something simple, like a hairline thing, or if it is a serious fracture, you might have to have surgery and have a pin inserted... though in fingers that's rare. Fingers crossed for you...pardon the pun. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I popped my middle finger out in an interclub match (first training season of the season) and my instincts kicked in and just snapped it back into place heard a few cracks but it felt fine. I went to get xrays the next day and it turned out I actually broke a bone in the knuckle and tore the ligaments or tendons in the finger as well. I had to go through 12 weeks of rehab or it would have healed bent. It's fine now.

OUCH!
My problem is that it's already begun to heal, and the joint just doesn't move freely anymore. Hospital couldn't d shit. Will be seeing a specialist on monday and he'll determine whether I have microsurgery (i bloody hope not, I hate needles) or massage therapy.

It was a little sore the next day but no more than any other jammed finger I've had playing sports. If you've fractured yours and it's healing the wrong way they may have to break the finger again. You still maybe able to get away with a splint for a while, worst case your looking at a pin. Good luck.
