Decisions, decisions. I bring it to the asylum. Which car? 2009 HSV CLUBSPORT E Series 2 R8 - 44114 K's or 2011 HOLDEN COMMODORE VE Series II SS V SPORTWAGON - 13657 K's I was going to get an E46 M3, but I want a newer car. Saying bye to my fucking awesome 330Ci. It's got a set of balls on it, and been a joy to drive, but it's time for a change. I have so many options at the 40-45K range, but not sure. I can't afford exactly what I want just yet due to starting a transport business, so hopefully what I want, I'll get next time round. Any advice on more choices? I would like something with grunt, sporty and roomy. 4WD is not out of the question either, I've sussed out a few Range Rovers'

Wagon is more practical for camping & carrying stuff. I reckon it looks a bit different kind of cool.

Fat lot of good you guys are Well, I bought the clubsport, but at that yard, they also have a fucking nice SSV wagon, full redline edition, pretty much same price. I am seriously thinking about changing my mind from the HSV to the wagon though. The wagon pictured above isn't a redline, which is why I passed on it. I want those brembo brakes as the standard are not the best I've been informed. I take delivery and make payment on Monday, so I have this weekend to change my mind. The other thing that is starting to bother me about the clubsport, is the phone connectivity to the car. Has bluetooth for voice only, music is only aux in via a headphone cable, and the cigi ligiter charger is in the console, so there would be wires everywhere and no still no place for the phone to sit so I can use the GPS. The SSV has all the sorted out. Not fond of buying a 45K car, then upgrading the stock headunit, but that's an option, and I don't want to change cars over a system, as that would be silly. HMMMM

I drive a 14 year old Hyundai so am no expert but am a believer in buying new. Don't want to worry about other peoples problems in a car I drive.
Pick the car that you feel comfortable with.

The Clubby will be faster obviously.
If you want to jump camps, the FG Falcon GT is a monster. I've got a 9 year old XR8 with the 5.4l BOSS 260kw engine, thats 350 hp for those playing at home and it screams. The newer Super charged 5.0l V8 engine in the FG is a killer. Option up the interior and you'll forget about the Clubsport.
If you're still looking at performance in a SUV / 4WD, to draw from the Ford camp again and you're willing to drive something a little older, theres the F6X Territory. Same turbo charged 4.0l straight 6 cylinder as the super dooper quick F6 Falcon.

hmm, peep show you say? I might just do that, but the fucking steering wheel lookins like crap and the the seats looks rather gay. The seats are another reason I might go the SSV Sportswagon over the HSV in the end. The SSV Wagon has the interior and the head unit that I want. The Holden IQ is awesome. Bluetooth for voice, and AUDIO STREAMING, and you can rip upto 15cds and store and play on the internal flash drive. NAv is standard and is rather good. The brand new models come with EDI, which is amazing. Totally for the racer. Anyways, back to my dilemma. This is the reason I might go the Wagon, it has everything I want, besides the HSV engine. I can't get it all HSV didn't make a Clubsport with the IQ till this year, and If I was to spend 65K, I'd be all over a BMW M1, new M3 or a BMW 335ci any day of the week. I'm a Holden guy, but I prefer to drive a BMW. Just can't afford the one I want this time I'd even get one of those new Subaru BRZ /Toyota FT86 things, but they're sold out. It'll be a year till you can get one. This is the redline interior (with Holden IQ head unit), all leather seats and trim, unlike the HSV and the Fords. You can either get red or grey, depending on what the car came with brand new. I like the red, and it's more rare to find the red. I've concluded that I would have the alter the head unit and get something like this installed, if I go the Clubsport in the end. www.ebay.com.au/itm/261126890979?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649OR www.ebay.com/itm/6-2-Holden-VY-VZ-Commodore-2002-2006-GPS-DVD-Bluetooth-IPOD-Multimedia-System-/150768968354?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item231a87e2a2Or Just get an iPad mini installed but can be controlled via the steering wheel controls. The aftermarket solution has to be controlled via the factory buttons on the steering wheel. This is a must. This can be done. I can't go back to CD's now, this is my dilemma. I can live without the TV, which has been nice to have the past 3 years.

Using in the cargo area & folding the back seats down for a horizontal position Would solve the problem. My first car was a white Mazda 323 wagon. It was so funny trying to find a quiet place to shag. Shit, nearly forgot those desperate old days. One night I was using the flat bed area & the cops flashed a spotty on me. Thank fuck they didn't investigate further, that'd be embarrassing. Thanks for bringing up near forgotten memories, guys.
