I am sure there is heaps on here with a huge Wrestling Tape/DVD Collection.
But do any of you have any other collection or hobbies? or some of you horders? Lets Discuss.
I started on Trading Cards when I was a kid starting with NRL cards at school which also started my love for gambling I recall these days being a time when your huge collection was all that mattered over condition we used to play games called flicks at lunch time where you flick a card off a seat onto the floor and each one you land a card on you get to keep I really mastered this as I lived next door to the school and used to head up there with a mate after school and practice on the same seat with nothing on the line and I used to clean up. There was also another version where you lined cards up on a wall and threw your card at it if you knocked it down you got to keep it it got to the point where people where wrapping ten cards in masking tape for extra power and then people started using lego bricks. It eventually got banned from my school due to it being a form of gambling I suspect a angry parent was pissed her son lost all his cards they brought but was going on for 3 years in my primary school days.
I moved over to Basketball cards in the 90's and out of all the cash wasted I only kept one which was a Lindsay Hunter rookie card some type of very rare gold special series from upper deck. I was busting heaps of packs hoping for it and one day my mate said let him open the pack he had a feeling he would get it and he pulled it out no joke. Its the only card from that era I kept and graded it recently with a beckett grade 9 it was worth $70US at the time 1993 ungraded no idea how much its worth now but I keep it as I love the story.
Got into the mid 90's Rave Scene after that and collected a heap of Mix Tapes by Aussie DJ's at the time Geoff Da Chef, DJ Chuck, Tymez II, 911, Chester, Daydream just to name a few over the years these tapes were borrowed and never returned i saw how much collectors are paying for these now and for a $15 cassette and every time i think about it I cry.
Moved into signed Index Cards and Auto/ Jersey cards in the mid 2000's have had some graded but its a costly exercise.
About 2 years ago I got into full on Sports Memorabilia signed photos etc.. My Fav Items are my.. Lesean Mccoy Authenticated Jersey Framed. Alistair Overeem MMA Gloves Framed James Kirkland signed Black Everlast Gloved Authenticated
Now I am trying my luck out with sports tickets as I am liking the artwork on them..

Warhammer. Lots of metal & plastic miniatures. Customised. Painted. Freaky hobby.
Tennis rackets, always on the lookout for old cheap classics. Especially Prince & Wilson graphite classics in good condition.

I'm a bit of a fucking geek, so I collect things here and there.
I love my Lord of the Rings, and have a collection of signed trading cards from the movies. Also a couple of the weta statues that were produced.
Used to part own a trading card store way back when, so have always managed to pick up things via reps I used to know. I usually buy a box or two of AFL cards every year. Have a nice little collection of Hawthorn cards.
That's about it, really

I used to collect foreign coins when I was younger, then we moved, and I could never find them again. I had about 150 or so at the time. Used to also collect NBA cards during the golden era, Jordan, Ewing, Barkley, etc.. Gave them away Now I just collect Air Jordans ;D 20 something pairs and growing EDIT: Stopped collecting wrestling DVD's a few years ago (it's all digital now) I also collect Vinyl records, old school Hop Hop, and all NRG tracks I never got a chance to get back in the day. Have a few hundred.

Have you ever participated in a box break from ebay or card collector forums? you pay a couple of dollars usually about $3 for a team and within 24hrs after the deal ends the supplier films himself opening the box and all the cards he pulled and sends you the youtue link to watch whatever team you chose you get to keep the cards that guy pulled. I did two last year and found it pretty fun only really pulled Eagles common cards but got my moneys worth.

One was done a little differently, in as much as the video of the box break saw the buyer label the packs as he unpacked it. Then opened them. I had three packs - something like 8, 9, 10 and on the tenth, he pulled out a dual auto redemption from the 2010 GF Pendlebury/Hayes. Then there was all this bullshit about it being rigges, blah, blah, blah - I didn't even know the guy. Still, I was pretty happy

OZcardtrader is a great forum I have been a long time viewer but only recently joined up to get some valuable advice on a Marvel Sketch Card I had. Picked up a UFC Ian Mc Call auto card for under $10 from a trader while I was there... ebay has it listed for $20-$25 They are doing the newest series of the big bang theory box break soon I am thinking of throwing in as I love the swatch memorabilia those sets offer. Heres a example I have seen better ones of Raj & Leonard on offer than this... www.ebay.com.au/itm/120975825145?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_500wt_981There's a little collectables shop in High st Thornbury, which has the entire Big Bang set. Actually, they probably have the best collection of geeky stuff I've ever seen. If you're ever in town, check it out

I won the Korean Zombie glove for $50 I am cheering I prefer going for exciting up and comers than legends as less money higher reward investment although I regret not getting any Joe Frazier Merchandise before he passed and finally got the respect he deserved after his death but its more fun than gambling with signed memorabilia as you feel like you have a stake in the fighters career plus I know a excellent framer that does UFC gloves with Plaques for $100 & did my NFL Jersey for $250 where others were quoting $400-$500+ apparently while it was being displayed in the shop awaiting my pickup people where asking him if he wanted to sell the Shady Mc'coy jersey it looked so nice Heres a picture of the Alistair Overeem glove i got framed a few months ago. picked it up from the framer a day before he tested positive I was dirty at the time but his glove prices have skyrocketed since. I took the framers advice on the colours blue/silver to match the glove and the writing and I am really happy with the way it turned out. The Black UFC Zombie glove will look awesome with just black white & silver. Heres the framework on my Lesean Mccoy Jersey JSA Authenticated I am really happy with the way it turned out and how they added the Eagles logo to the plaque. I am on the lookout for a Keith Thurman signed glove he is a upcoming boxing prospect who HBO is really high on 18-0(17KO) problem being he is still so green that no collectors on ebay have any signed merchandise. How would you go about trying to get one? I have Pmed Winky Wrights Gym where he trains asking if they would be willing to do it if i sent the glove or trunks over and would pay for any shipping costs and even a fee for the auto I hope they get back to me as I only sent the pm yesterday and its still sunday in the USA. If it does happen I will probably go for a pair of trunks as I have too many gloves + cheaper postage and a nice framed pair of trunks would look awesome in my collection.who knows they could even send out a training glove he used and signed which would be awesome I am not on twitter but saw Keith Thurman was sending out signed Pictures to his twitter fans so I might try him personally any one had any luck with trying to contact the sports person directly?
