Not a huge fan of Avatar. Sure it looks amazing, and even better on Blu-Ray I'd imagine. But seriously it's a little gay.

I liked it, but I had absolutely no idea about anything when I went to see it. I really had no idea about what it was about, that it had giant smurfs etc.. The only thing I knew was, it was in 3D and every man and his dog was raving on about it. I must say, I did enjoy it, and thought it was a great movie. Made me think about how we vulture our own planet so to speak for whatever we mine for.

It was a really good movie IMO and underneath the outstanding visual effects the message in it was loud and clear and was hopefully heard on more people than not.

I may have disliked The Matrix Kekster, but I thought Avatar was great. Looking forward to the special edition Blu-Ray coming out in time for Christmas

Matrix. I thought it was exceptional. The idea was complete genius, very original. Maybe a little too much focus on black leather & bullet time, but very slick & smart. It's been imitated many times since. I sometimes think most people don't actually understand what is going on at all in The Matrix.
I thought Avatar was ok, just a little bit too tree hugging hippie to be an all time favourite to me. I like my Sci-Fi with no morals & a fight to the death: Alien Predator Star Wars The Thing [1981]

Twlight. I'm fan of True Blood & many macabre things. Heard all the hype & finally watched it. Nearly fell asleep from boredom, very dull. Vampires getting around during the day, going to school, WTF. Simply an Emo movie IMO, has little or nothing to do with vampires.

Vampires getting around during the day, going to school, WTF. Simply an Emo movie IMO, has little or nothing to do with vampires. By the time the first one had come out on DVD, I had'nt heard all that much, outside of it being a hit movie. And judging from the Paramore music video, I thought it looked rather slick. Cool idea and the entire washed out look, similar to Underworld, was cool. Then I hired it, and fell asleep within the first 30mins. Made a copy of it, watch it again... fell asleep. And when I did see more than an hour's worth, I thought it was the biggest piece of shit I had ever seen. Poor acting, well... exceptionally poor acting. And even then, the main guy.. you'd think would be incredibly good looking to be such a poor actor.. so I don't understand why women like him, or his appeal. Then, because I like to understand something if I'm going to mock it. When I found out all these indy artists were in on the soundtrack, I was horrified and then, still could not understand why people love this movie. All Kristen Stewart ever does in any movie is look sad. Vampire guy couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag, and werewolf guy has about as much charisma and screen presence as a door knob. All in all, it was a horrible experience. Then I was dragged along to the 2nd movie by my girlfriend. Thats when the story gets wack. And it gave me more and more material to use in mocking the stupid thing.
