So, been to any gigs recently? Post your reviews here.
I went to Mortal Sin/Overkill last week at the HiFi in Melbourne, and holy shit was it amazing. For such a small venue, the electricity was unbelievable. t was Overkill's first time here in 25 years, and they played an excellent setlist. Was definitely feeling the pain the day after (I was front row, smothered into the guard rail). Got hit in the face with a beer bottle, elbowed and punched a few times, but it was worth it, for an awesome band.

Saw Peter Hook & Friends playing: Joy Division: Unknown Pleasures + many classics
Amazing concert, brutal thrumming bass with alternative late '70's angst. One of my favourite concerts. Never thought I would see Joy Division in any form, ever. So pleased I went & did not pike out.

I am off to see Paramore next week. I am pretty stoked, if not surprised I even got a ticket to this gig because I wouldn't normally go otherwise.
But I am enjoying their stuff at the moment, so I am looking forward to it!

Haven't been to anything lately but just checked out the Future lineup for next year and it looks great (apart from Kei$ha of course). Was good to see this lineup after the shit that Falls and BDO are bringing down. Tool are good but, again?? Last gigs I went to was Grinspoon in Franga (yes, interesting crowd) and We Are Scientists at, fucked if i know. One of gig venues that all kind of morph into each other around the city Was thinking of Linkin Park or Korn for a big venue gig, but suck my balls regarding the ticket prices.

I went and watched Ed K last night. (Lead singer of Live)
He put on a great show. Mixed a lot of the Live hits amongst his own new songs. I never got to see Live in their prime so this is probably the next best thing. I Alone, Selling the Drama and All over You and of course Lightning Crashes were all played which was sweet.

Was in Vegas last month so took the wife to see Justin Timberlake and Friends, it had Christina Aguelia, Diddy, T Pain, and Elton John, not my type of concert but the wife loved it.

I had tickets to the first shows, before the extra 3 were added. But they were shite seats, so me and my mate thought we'd take a gamble and buy some different ones. The website got so laggy that by the time we got back into it, all the good seats were gone. When the next shows got added, my mate didn't want to go anymore, and I'm not a fan of going to concerts alone, though i regret this one immensely.
