What ever happened to the member Hollywood? He disappeared? I'm back guys doing ok physically cancer has gone into remission, having a few issues mentally some things took its toll but am getting help in that area. Thanks for caring. |

Think their timing if the show was bad with all the whoo haa about Corby's release. Think a lot of people are tired of hearing about her, much more interested in INXS, brought back memories pleasant one i must say! Remember seeing the band before they were popular or heard of, in the early 80's they came to Brisbane as a support band to Richard Clapton at the Her Majesty's theatre my sister and I seemed to be the only one's in the crowd her enjoyed them, great night. |

She tried to smuggle 4.2KG of pot to Bali.
They make a movie from out of the story.
They pay her approx $1.5mill to tell her story.

While I'm sick of hearing about her and her skanky arse sister selling her story, I'm also disgusted by the way the media is jumping over each other to buy her story. These so called journalists keep crapping on about she was set up or 20 years was too harsh a penalty but if she was set up, how come none of them are investigating to find the real story? How come her family arent using the money they keep getting from their stories to find proof she was set up? Or am I right in saying trashy mags like No Idea etc would rather just keep pumping out this dribble and getting people to buy it than get the real answers? Because they dont have to actually check their facts, just trot out lines like "a source close to the family said", etc. If Schapelle Corby looked like Susan Boyle the media wouldnt give a shit about her. Its only because she's a bit of a looker that they can cash in.
This is where I reckon Jesse Ventura was spot on in how the media a lot of times would rather cover up the truth about things because they answer to someone else. Case in point how the OJ trial got massive coverage while at the same time Martin Luther Kings family was fighting in court to prove who really killed him. Guess which story got all the headlines?
