Breaking Bad season 3 eps 5,6,7,8,9
Walt is up to his neck in trouble as usual, yet it has not appeared, yet. One thing, Hank Schader, amazing effort. Well made crime / family drama.

Havn't got it on DVD, but another HBO series " How to make it in America "
From the producers of Entourage. It about two young New Yorkers trying to start a vintage fashion brand. If Entourage captures the entire Californian cool thing, this series captures the cool, hip East coast thing.

I love the pre gun/bomb war type movies. Aka, Braveheart, 300, Troy etc etc Any recommendations?
I bought a movie called Pathfinder. Hope to watch it tonight. Anyone seen it. It has a viking in America pre settlement theme. Looks like it will be pretty good.

Have been watching the tv show Sliders. I managed to get every episode on dvd. Not normally into sci fi too much.
I remember enjoying seeing the different slants they had for each earth in each episode. The third season was a bit off with a bit much supernatural themes. After that with the Kromags (spelling) was kind of ok also. Like a lot of the older stuff.

Watched Brooklyn's Finest last night.
It was a cross between a modern New Jack City and Pulp Fiction.
With it's all start cast, being made by the same people who made training day, I was expecting it to be off the hook. Not as good as I was expecting, but not shit, but saying that, it's not something I'll watch again.

I've seen Pathfinder.
It's about a Viking children left behind in the New World, when a raiding party lands on american soil. Raised by the local Indian tribe, he becomes part of their group... until years later, the Vikings return... etc, etc... wasn't fantastic in any way. In fact I don't remember much, as it didn't really grab me. Lots of fighting, hack and slash type stuff.

The A Team.
I really enjoyed this. I liked how they stuck with the storyline, and wrapped it all up in the movie. Was not expecting it to be that good. It's the little things that made it great for me.

Hustle [2004] ABC & UKTV A British crew (plus one old Yank) who are con artists in London rip off fat cats. I love this show, not very violent, not a lot of swearing, just good characters in great situations. Somewhat like a UK TV version of Ocean's Eleven, but so much better IMO. Once you watch a few episodes its very addictive viewing, one episode a night is not usually enough.
