When did you first see it? sometime in the early 80's
Characters you liked/disliked?allways found the Duke boys themself a little lame when they were not driving around like maniacs in the GENRAL LEE and it was one of those shows where they bad guys made it watchable: Rosco Purvis Coltrane,Boss Jefferson Davis "J.D." Hogg and of course Basset Hound Flash and how can any male not love Daisy May Duke.
Storylines you liked/disliked?Been so long since i have seen the show can't remember many but allway like the ones where Bo and Luke drove the GENRAL LEE and outsmarted BOSS HOG and co. (wich was just about ever episode)
Did any of the cast go on to do anything else of note? Catherine Bach had the distinction of having her trademark provocatively high-cut jean short shorts named after her: "Daisy Dukes",Tom Wopat has turned up in the likes of Cybill,Murder Show Wrote,Home Improvement,Smallville and last years Jonah Hex and also a singer with a bunch of albums under his belt. John Schneider has become a B-movie main stay. Denver Pyle had a long run before the series and turned up a few things here and there until his death in 1997.
Just about ever one else in the series keep busy after the show's run but never turned up in anything of note but of course Waylon Jennings served as the show's narrator is a music legend and all the cast would turn up in the many Duke's reunion movies and had a consistent mix of up-and-comers and established stars make guest appearances.
During the show's second season, the show's writers began flirting with the idea of incorporating a "celebrity speed trap" into certain episodes. On its first couple of instances, the "Speed Trap" was featured early in the story, but for most of the cases, it was featured in the last few minutes of an episode, sometimes when the story was running short.
What did you think of the movie that came out? never seen it
Any other thoughts on Dukes Of Hazzard? a fun show from my childhood that i allways ick back and veg out to now days

i guess i saw it first time around...so 1983-ish
characters i liked - gotta go with the heels on this one, roscoe was brilliant
no 1 storyline leaps out
Jon scneider had a good run on smallville as Mr kent...
movie was dukes of hazzard in name only...and it was crap
wouldnt rush out and buy a box set, thats for sure

They were all good in that none stand out

Daisy was a stunner and the car was a great character as well. It was perfect for my age group back when
