A-Team [2010] Started off a little slowly & serious, but I got into it with the flying tank scene & was rather entertained after that. Really like Murdock in the nuthouse about half way through, very Cuckoo's Nest. Very OTT special effects & quite a thrill ride. Also, Jessica Biel, mmm...

The hangover.
Not bad, a boys flick and a good timewaster.

If you watched the TV show as a kid, you had to enjoy this. Love the original Faceman cameo, and the dialog between them was cool.

The IT Crowd. I was tooling around on my PS3 & found ABC Iview. Watched season 4 ep3. Quite a good way to catch up with recent shows. Shame it was not the start of the season.

Last night: GI Joe ***1/2 I actually quite liked it. Crazy action & OTT special effects. Fighting, glam girls. What's not to like?
Realised that there is a Black Eyed Peas link. A version of Boom Boom Pow is the credits theme. Rock That Body video is very GI Joe with the space guns, armoured helmets & hi-tech babe Fergie.
Nikita? Yes, I shall get into it soon.

The Social Network.
Really interesting look at the creation and the internal politics behind, if not the greatest social / media revolution of this past generation.
Sean Parker, of Napster fan is depicted as much more of a rock star than he really is. The reality is, if a much less attractive and less likable person than Justin Timberlake was playing him, he'd just be remembered as an incredibly massive douche bag.
The movie was talked about on here a few weeks back. I'd have to side with Zuckerberg on one thing, partly ripping off the idea from the Winklevoss twins. The reality is, their idea wasn't exactly original, nor was Zuckerberg's. Social networking was nothing new, Facebook just did it better than the thousand other social platforms that were flooding the internet at the turn of the century and up until mid-way through the decade.
But seriously, screwing over, then completely fucking over your best friend.. low move.

One thing that isn't freely discussed in detail and is forgotten for the mist, is Sean Parker ( timberlake's character ) didn't create Napster. He was the business partner of Shawn Fanning, who created Napster.
Parker in the movie, clearly takes credit for the creation, the rise and fall of Napster, the initiation of file-sharing and the explosion of social media.

Kick Ass.
Really enjoyed it. Fairly original, and witty. Loved Nic Cage impersonating Adam West as Batman when he was Big Daddy.
Can't believe the fuss made over Hit Girl saying "cunt" either. You almost miss it that's how subtle it is.

You almost miss it that's how subtle it is. Hit Girls foul mouth is the highlight of the movie. You just don't expect little girls to talk like that, but it's fucking funny as.
