All for a reboot in terms of Superman. Rumor has it, it will be much more reality based, as was the Batman reboot.
It was certainly one of those franchises that needed a 21st kick in the arse, the last movie could have been made 30 years ago. You could almost compare it to the old Bond example... a tank full of sharks may have worked in the 1960s, but that shit doesn't fly in 2011.

There is like 9 seasons of Smallville.
Surely that bunch are doing something right?
I've only seen part of an ep, funny thing is Smallville was on when I was buying my TV & there was a black & white flashback where used as a great comparison for the TV's.
I'm still itching for fanboy favourite Kevin Smith to take on a lesser comic book movie:

I'm in the middle of a book by Kevin J Anderson, called ...THE LAST DAYS OF KRYPTON....it has Science Commisioner Zod (yep he wasnt always a general), the EL brothers and their wives, the Planet Council , Braniac , kandor being shrunk, one of the Gaurdians of Oa (yeh the little blueskin guys that run the green lanterns Corp) and a crapload of natural disasters...could make a good flick maybe
