What do you think of the show? - pretty damn good actually
Who are some of your fave characters? - Homer, bart, Krusty, Moe, the cheif, mr Burns and his sidekick whose name eludes me
A few fave eps of yours? - the Halloween specials
Is it the best show of all time? - nah that was M*A*S*H
Should they have ended the show by now? If so, when should they have ended it? - probably, but i reckon they shoulda killed off neighbours and the Bold and the Beautiful....so what do i know

What do you think of the show? Certainly has remained fresh just a pity all the re runs
Who are some of your fave characters? - Flanders
A few fave eps of yours? - Nothing at the movies or on tv makes me laugh out loud except Maxwell Smart being introduced to the Kraw....no no not the Kraw, the Kraw, not the Kraw the Kraw
(asian criminal with a steel klaw instaed of a hand)
and The Simpson episode where they are all in the same room being psychologicaly evaluated and all given a club. Anyway they all bash each other with their clubs instad of being nice to each other. Classic
Is it the best show of all time? - nah the Aussie show Seachange by a mile. The simpsons might make a top 40

They over repeated it. To many reruns. Just bored of it now

Allthough its a cartoon I think some of the storys are based on a real life look at how the world is run. Some times the storys tell people how they are manipulated by the media advertising and the government and its a true reflection, even though it seems outrageous

What do you think of the show? I like it. It's like Seinfield, you can always watch it. Who are some of your fave characters? Homer, The Chief and sidekicks, Mr Burns and Otto Homer's awesome though. Some people actually go through life in a similar manner. A few fave eps of yours? Ahh, too many to choose 1, but I did like the one where Bart discovers the comet whilst being punished by Skinner whilst he was looking at the stars to discover something  Is it the best show of all time? It's up there due to longevity, and you can always watch it(though I havn't for a few years, just very scarcely randomly) Should they have ended the show by now? If so, when should they have ended it? Nah, why if they can keep doing it. Do you quote some lines from the show in a given situation? What are they? What do you think of the show? Love it. More so the older eps, can gladly sit through a few classic eps and enjoy them all over again. Who are some of your fave characters? Homer, Ned, Burns, Ralph and love Chief Wiggums' interplay with Lou and Eddie. Lou 'Permission to hug Chief'. Wiggum 'Permission granted' A few fave eps of yours? Homer At The Bat, where Burns bring pro baseball players in to play on his softball team. Mr Plow is full of great lines. Deep Space Homer when Homer becomes an astronaut. Colonel Homer, where Homer manages country singer Lurleen Lumpkin. Papas Got A Brand New Badge, where Homer forms his own security force. Homer 'Look buddy, your car was like that when I got here. And as for your grand mother, well, she shouldn't have mouthed off like that'. Is it the best show of all time? Very close yes, so much quality over such a long period. Should they have ended the show by now? If so, when should they have ended it? I think it has over stayed it's welcome yes. I used to be very keen to see ever new ep, but the last 5 years or so, if I don't see a newie, I'm happy to see it when ever it happens to cycle around on Fox. Do you quote some lines from the show in a given situation? What are they? Marge is going away by herself for awhile and tells Homer things he needs to remember, he tries repeating them back to her with the final one being 'Cat in the furnace' So with a mate and I, when the footy is on, if the game looks like it has a sure winner, it's become 'Cat in the furnace', the result is final. Anything else you wanna add re The Simpsons? With Fox 8 showing them what must be over 30 times a week, even when the show does wrap up, it's gonna live on for many, many years. Given me a lot of laughs over the last 20 years, and I think I'll still find it funny 20 years from now. |

A few fave eps of yours? Season 2 with Homer jumping Springfield Gorge still makes me crack up.
Is it the best show of all time? It's got to be up there. I think calling any one program the best ever's a big call but it'd go close I reckon.
Should they have ended the show by now? If so, when should they have ended it? No way. Not as good as it used to be but still better than half the other shit going around..
Do you quote some lines from the show in a given situation? What are they? Oh yeah, 'So how about that local sporting team?' always gets a guernsey. It's the ultimate let's change the subject line.
Anything else you wanna add re The Simpsons? I still remember 9/11 & every channel had blanket coverage of the attacks & the aftermaths but channel 10 still played the Simpsons!

Still really enjoy it. I don't follow it as religiously as I used to but it's always easy to sit down and watch it.
Who are some of your fave characters?
Homer and Ned together is always good value. The whole police squad. Burnsy and Smithers, Skinner, Comic Book Guy
A few fave eps of yours?
Stonecutters!
Bart gets a spy camera and takes a photo of Homer with a dancer. A Classic from Season 1.
King Size Homer
and anything with Sideshow Bob

I would say best animation easily. IO wouldn't say best show but it deserves credit for being around for such a long time.

Well no. I still enjoy it a lot. It still rates well so why end it. It's a cartoon version of Days of Our Lives.

"Hoy, Hoy" That came from Mr. Burns after he learned how to answer a phone. I have a few people how I do this with when they ring.
I throw the Comic Book Guys line out a lot as well. "Worst something Ever"
