So, what songs to you find overrated? You may still enjoy them, but just find them overrated. Mine are
'Sweet Child O Mine' Guns n Roses 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' Nirvana 'Under The Bridge' RHCP
Now I like those 3 bands, and I do like those songs. But, they all have much better songs, but those songs are considered their greatest.
What else have you got?

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (can't stand it actually)
Spot on with your picks, I like them too, just not that much.

Agree on all of the above.
Stairway to heaven - LedZep... i might get a bit of heat, but i reckon anything by Led Zeppelin is overrated. That's just my opinion though.

I knew someone would bring that up. I’d say it’s overplayed on radio, not so much overrated. FM Radio hardly ever plays any other Led Zeppelin songs. Stairway To Heaven (live) is absolutely amazing IMO. Do yourself a favour & check it out.

I agree that Stairway to Heaven is overrated.
'Brick In The Wall' by Pink Floyd is another on my list

'Throw Your Arms Around Me' by Hunters And Collectors. For chrissakes, any time a song of theirs is coming up on radio, you know it's that one.
Same with 'Jack And Diane' by John Mellancamp and 'Living On A Prayer' by Bon Jovi. Music Max flogs those 2 to death.

'American Idiot' by Green Day is for mine, one of the worst Green Day songs.
Rayth, I love 'Jack and Diane' and 'Livin On A Prayer', but yeah Max and the MIX FM station in Canberra play them to death.

Oh, anything by Coldplay I find over rated. Dreary, melancholy songs that drift along and go nowhere.

I'd agree with the Nirvana call. For me their best work is the Unplugged disc, some good songs on their studio stuff but not out and out classics that many say. Killing himself made Cobains music more respected than it should be.
There's a lot of Aussie songs that seem to get labelled as classics that I loathe. Probably top of the list is Solid Rock by Goanna. I scratch my head at some of the love for Cold Chisel too. Not that I dislike them, but songs like Rising Sun shit bore me to death after all these years. Still love Khe Sahn, Flame Trees (but I prefer the Barnes Flesh and Wood version) and When the War is Over though.

I think the three at the start and simply over played far too much. Ever time some countdown needs " 1990s " they break out Teen Spirit.
And theres far better Gunner's songs than November Rain.

REM have constantly shit me over the years. Whiney vocals, jangly guitar with no meat and a bunch of dreary, ugly mid tempo songs containing confusing lyrics.

Eminem.
Seriously kids? Seriously? People still listen to his bullshit? Each and every album it's another bitch and moan about how...
A ) He went on a drug bender, survived it and is now " taking a stand " and will never do it again..
B ) Need his Mummy.
C ) Blames his Mummy for his constant cycle of Addiction-Rehab-Relapse-repeat.
Seriously? I mean, seriously?
I always thought, when people do drugs, their music gets better.. maybe I was wrong.
