Enema of the State - Blink 182
I dusted this one of yesterday and had a listen to it. The CD really doesn't appeal to me as much as when I'm younger. I think this is the type of music you tend to grow out of.
Adam's Song though is on another level. It's such a moving track which is incredibly well written. A lot of people go through depression and can relate and for those that haven't can listen and get a small feeling of what it maybe like.

Is that the 5 disc set or the 10 disc set. How can they have an essential Bob Dylan album. Even at his worst his music has a time and place that you listen to it and enjoy it The Traveling Willburys is still essential listening and his "Oh Mercy" album is worth downloading

Public Enemy - it Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back.
Their first album, and one of the greatest albums of all time for me. There's been a shitload of Dance tracks made, that used Chuck D samples from this album.
I just fucking love it. Loved it when I got it back when it came out, and, can't ever get sick of hearing it, even now, as it's 23-24 years old

An offshoot from The Misfits 70's post punk US band & a little similar to Danzig (Glenn Danzig was also in The Misfits) Gorgeous Frankenstein - Gorgeous Frankenstein (2007) Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein plays guitar & sings about such things as Gorgeous George (the babe) from WCW, who I think he is married too. Lyrics like"Fake tits & a feline stare..." might give you a hint Genre is considered "Horror Punk" though I think it's closer to Horror Metal. Really dirgey heavy bass guitar & drums, I like it a lot. Nice boys don't play Rock 'n Roll!

Stone Temple Pilots. Rather listen to them than Rage, Soundgarden, Nirvana or even Pearl Jam. Albums include: Core Purple Tiny Music... No.4 Shangri-La Dee Da Stone Temple Pilots
A 4 piece rock act with no bullshit tech input, every song sounds a little different to the last. Damn good musicians who just knock out awesome addictive riffs. One of my top 5 favourite acts.

The Pilots are playing at Festival Hall tonight with Grinspoon. I would go had I not had people staying here.
